What PSIP does
Three questions every bid team has to answer.
Most tender services tell you what has been published. PSIP tells you what it means — who holds the contract now, what the buyer actually spends, and whether the work is worth your bid.
Is this worth bidding for?
Every tender scored 1–10 against your capability, with the reasoning shown. Bid/no-bid decisions in minutes, evidenced well enough to defend at board level.
Who holds it now?
Incumbent supplier, contract value, expiry date and the buyer's full procurement history — including ownership structure and framework routes.
What's coming next?
Contract expiry tracking across £195.7bn of governed value, so you engage the buyer months before the notice publishes — not the week it closes.
Method
We publish our coverage, not just our numbers.
99.7% of raw recorded contract “value” in UK procurement data is framework ceiling noise or error. PSIP classifies every award, holds framework ceilings separately, and states the confidence and coverage behind every figure it shows you.
“A number you cannot trace is worse than no number at all. Every figure in PSIP carries its method, its confidence and its coverage.”

Most suppliers wait for the tender notice. The best ones spot the expiring contract six months earlier and walk in with a relationship already built. A sample of what subscribers see daily — filtered to their sectors, regions and capability profile.

What procurement portals does PSIP cover?
PSIP aggregates tender data from all five UK procurement portals: Find a Tender Service (UK-wide above-threshold), Contracts Finder (England below-threshold), Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales, and eTendersNI.
How do I get alerts for UK government contracts?
PSIP allows you to set up saved searches with keywords, CPV codes, buyer names, and value ranges. Matching tenders are delivered to your inbox daily — or every 4 hours on the Growth plan.
What is a CPV code?
A CPV (Common Procurement Vocabulary) code is a standardised 8-digit classification code used across UK and EU procurement. For example, 72000000 covers IT Services and 48000000 covers Software packages.
Can I track when government contracts are expiring?
Yes. PSIP's Contract Expiry Tracker shows public sector contracts due for renewal within 30, 90, 180 or 365 days, giving you time to prepare before the re-tender is published.
Can I see which contracts my competitors are winning?
Yes. PSIP's Competitor Tracker lets you search for any supplier by name and see their full history of government contract wins, including values and buyer organisations.
